This beef mixture is amazing. Easy, succulent, yummy, and easily made LCHF without the beans.
As I am still getting ready to change over, I am using up my stash in the pantry of non compliant foods. I

Beef Mixture

  • 700 g gravy beef
  • 2 tsp ground cumin
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 guajillo halved
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Chillies to taste

Tomatillo Sauce Ingredients

  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 6 pickled tomatillos
  • 2 tbsp adobo sauce
  • 4 chillies in adobo
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Optional ( if not LCHF)

  • I can black beans


  • Place all beef mixture ingredients into a slow cooker, or in my case the KitchenAid Multicooker, and Cook for 1 hour at 100 degrees

For Tomatillo Sauce

  • Add all ingredients to mixer
  • Blend 15 seconds / speed 5
  • Add to beef mixture after the first hour and cook for further 30 minutes
  • * If adding beans, add in last 5 minutes and stir through
