I really rate this recipe as a great bread. The flavour of these nuts and seeds together is just beautiful. I truly believe it is better than any other grain or seed breads I have ever tried.

This keto seed bread is a delicious gluten free bread that everyone can enjoy!

With so many keto bread recipes available it can be really hard to find a good one. I love this recipe because it is not only tasty but takes less than 10 minutes to prepare. Simple mix then pop it into the oven to bake.

I really want to create some fabulous new recipes using hemp seeds.  Hemp seeds are not only tasty but very low in carbohydrate. They are also high in plant-based protein, and seriously tasty.

How to make it

As per my usual lazy way of cooking this is pretty much a one bowl mix and scoop into the pan and bake recipe.

However, I do recommend just a rough chop of the nuts and seeds. The secret is you don’t want them all made into meal.

It is the chunky bits that make this bread all the better.

Hemp BreadI really hope you enjoy this bread that will satisfy the keto diet as well as our paleo diet followers as well.

Just making for the first time – can’t wait!!
Just to clarify though… recipe says bi-carb soda but I think it’s meant to be baking soda (powder)
And is the coconut oil the liquid one or the one that goes hard if it’s cold?

    1. Megan Mad Creations Hub

Hi Dea yes it is baking soda (sorry old recipe) and the coconut oil is the liquid one. I do need to do some maintenance on some of the older recipes.

I’m curious. I’m going to make this bread now and noticed in the recipe you said bicarbonate soda and then in your comment above you said you use baking powder. Which one is used please?

    1. Megan

Hi Kimberly, it is baking soda used in this recipe.

Great recipe. Super easy to follow. I don’t have a bread tin so I baked it in my muffin tin and my “buns” turns out beautifully. Thank you so much ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

could you tell me if the hemp seeds are hulled please, we can get both in the UK???

  8. Suza NZ

Hi again. I have a Tm5 thermomix machine, and found whipping the eggs really frothy first, then adding the other ingredients the loaf rose quite a bit.
Love your site and this recipe is now the only loaf I bake, especially now in NZ I can legally get the hemp seeds. Keep the recipes coming. Yeah !

Thank you for sharing the recipe. Is it supposed to rise? Mine didn’t rise a all, still tastes ok tho.
    Thanks

    1. Megan

Not a lot. I find Bobs Red Mill baking powder the best for breads to rise, and size of the eggs used

      1. Shelley

You say baking powder here but in previous comments you specify baking soda. Which is it? Thank you. Looking forward to trying it.

      2. Megan Mad Creations Hub

It is an old recipe and I did use baking soda. These days I would use Bobs Red Mill Baking Powder.

This is in grams do you have an imperial measurement. I think 5g is 1 teaspoon. Am I correct.

    1. Megan

Yes it is. You should be able to flick the recipe over to imperial near the servings indicator

Hi, I’m from across the sea. I am super excited to try this bread. I am assuming that TM is short for a food processor? Thanks!

    1. Megan

      Sorry yes it is

This bread really is unbelievably tasty. I’ve been doing keto for two months now and this recipe has made it so easy. I toast some of this bread up with eggs and avocado everyday and love it. Thank you so much for sharing.

    1. Megan

Glad you enjoy it Josh. It is one of my faves too.

Made your Hemp Seedy bread and hubby declared it “without a doubt the best bread I’ve ever tasted”.
High praise from one fussy foodie who has not had a slice of anything remotely breadlike since starting Keto 1 Jan this year.
Many thanks Megan for making this woe more palatable. 😊😊😊
