This Keto Big Mac Sauce recipe is the perfect special sauce for any keto burger recipe, salad or cheeseburger casserole! Plus a super bonus that the recipe is just so easy to make!

I have been making and using our keto special sauce recipe for many years as it is pretty much the same as the original from McDonalds. Almost the same but a lot less additives and sugar!

Originally featured in our Big Sexy Burger, from my very first cookbook Real Food Real Fast, this is one of my staple keto dressing recipes. It is honestly one of my favourite dressings for most meat based salads I make and a personal favourite also for keto burger recipes.

Keto Special Sauce Ingredients

  • Mayonnaise – use your favourite pre-made mayonnaise or make your own
  • Dill cucumbers – I use sugar free pickles
  • Mustard – I use Australian mustard or yellow mustard
  • Smoked paprika
  • Garlic powder 
  • Onion powder 
  • White vinegar or pickle juice

How to Make Keto Big Mac Sauce

Combine all ingredients in a small mixing bowl. 

For a food processor – give a quick pulse or mix on slow to medium speed.

Store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week. 

This recipe can be made in much larger amounts and stored in the fridge. If there is more than two of you then I would recommend doing just that. The sauce is so damn good you might find yourself putting it on everything you eat for a week. Haha! (I tend to do this).

The sauce that many of us know and love minus the sugar! Our Keto Big Mac Sauce has been keeping a lot of fellow Ketonians happy for the past couple of years from our very delicious Big Sexy Burger recipe. Well now we have it here as a star of its own, for everyone to enjoy!

  • 110 g mayonnaise
  • 20 g dill cucumbers finely diced
  • 25 g Australian mustard or yellow mustard
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp white vinegar



  • Mix all ingredients in a small bowl together until combined.
  • Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 1 week.

  • Store in an airtight jar in the fridge for up to 1 week.
